How to Wear Your Invisible Crown

Invisible Crown Step-by-Step Guide
Gently detangle the extensions from tips to roots with a paddle brush or wide-tooth comb. Our premium synthetic fibers look and feel like human hair, but they aren’t human hair, so detangle before and after each wear for the smoothest blend. For extra care, lightly mist with leave-in conditioner to keep them soft, manageable, and ready to style.
Part your hair about 1.5 inches back from your hairline and just below your occipital bone (the bump behind your head) using your fingers.
Gather the top section of your hair and secure it into a bun on top of your head with a hair tie. For more security and to keep hair out of the way, wrap it into a bun instead of using a clip.
Hold the Invisible Crown carefully in both hands, being gentle with the invisible wire so it doesn’t snap. Lift it as if you’re placing a crown on your head.
Place the crown about 1.5 inches back from your hairline, resting it roughly 2 inches above your ears. Make sure the clips are closed as you place the crown down so they don’t snag your hair.
Keep your middle fingers holding the invisible wire down at the front as you gently push the weft into place. The weft should wrap along the occipital bone (the bump at the back of your head). Every head shape is different, so adjust the placement until it feels most comfortable for you. The crown should sit flush against your head. If it feels loose, remove it and readjust the invisible wire using the adjustable hooks.
While holding the invisible wire in place so it doesn’t slip, gently unsnap the clips. Adjust the weft until it feels comfortable, then snap the clips closed to secure.
Gently take down the bun you created at the crown of your head. This will allow your natural hair to fall over the halo extension for a seamless blend.
Using a rattail comb, gently pull sections of your natural hair over the invisible wire. This will help blend the extension seamlessly with your own hair.
Comb directly along the wire with the tail of your rattail comb. This helps you catch and pull down any hidden strands underneath. The more evenly you cover, the more flawless and undetectable your halo will appear.
Comb through your natural hair and the extension together using a wide-tooth comb. For a natural finish, add soft curls with a curling iron on low heat (maximum 250°F).
Care Guide
Yes, hot tools can be used up to 250°F. Anything hotter may damage the fibers. Keep in mind, while our premium synthetic extensions look and feel like human hair, they will not style or reset exactly like human hair.
Yes, you can flat iron the Beach Wave Clip-Ins at up to 250°F. However, once straightened, the waves will not return. For a wavy look, we recommend our Mane Theorie Beach Wave extensions.
You may curl them with hot tools under 250°F, but unlike human hair, they won’t hold curls the same way. For effortless waves or loose curls, choose our Mane Theorie Beach Wave extensions.
Lightly mist with a leave-in conditioner or detangler. Separate the hair into small sections, then gently brush from the ends upward to the weft using a wide-tooth comb or paddle brush. Always start at the ends and work toward the root to prevent damage. Be gentle.
All of our extensions are meticulously crafted by hand, so light shedding may occur during first use. To minimize shedding, gently comb with a paddle brush starting at the ends and working up to the root.
We recommend avoiding frequent washes, as they can dry out the fibers. When needed, brush gently from ends to roots. Fill a sink with cold water and a conditioner (no shampoo). Submerge the extensions, then detangle with a wide-tooth comb or paddle brush. Lay flat on a towel to air dry. Do not blow-dry.
Made with our premium synthetic fibers, Mane Theorie extensions are designed to hold their shape and style beautifully. On average, they look their best for 2–3 months with regular wear. Daily wear may require a refresh around 6–8 weeks, while occasional use can extend them closer to 4 months.
Spray lightly with leave-in conditioner or detangler, separate into small sections, and gently brush starting at the ends, working toward the root. Patience and gentle care will restore them to a smooth finish.
