How to Clip In Your Extensions
Style your hair with loose waves to match our Beach Wave extensions or flat iron straight for our Straight extensions. Grab a brush, sectioning clips, and texturizing spray or dry shampoo.
Gently detangle the extensions from tips to roots with a paddle brush or wide-tooth comb. Our premium synthetic fibers look and feel like human hair, but they aren’t human hair, so detangle before and after each wear for the smoothest blend. For extra care, lightly mist with leave-in conditioner to keep them soft, manageable, and ready to style.
Part your hair from mid-ear to mid-ear and clip the rest up. Tease the roots in this section, then apply texturizing spray for extra hold. Clip in the 3-clip weft starting with the middle clip, then secure the sides.
Part straight across from the top of one ear to the other. This is your widest section. Tease the roots, apply texturizing spray, then clip in the 4-clip weft. Start with the middle clips and then secure the outer ones.
Part diagonally from your eye corner to your temple on each side. Add your 2-clip wefts using the same root prep technique. Repeat on both sides.
Release your hair and gently brush everything together for a seamless, natural finish. Re-curl sections of your hair with the extensions if you’re wearing Beach Wave, or touch up with a flat iron for Straight extensions. Keep heat below 250°F for best results.
Clip-In Care Guide
Yes, hot tools can be used up to 250°F. Anything hotter may damage the fibers. Keep in mind, while our premium synthetic extensions look and feel like human hair, they will not style or reset exactly like human hair.
Yes, you can flat iron the Beach Wave Clip-Ins at up to 250°F. However, once straightened, the waves will not return. For a wavy look, we recommend our Mane Theorie Beach Wave extensions.
You may curl them with hot tools under 250°F, but unlike human hair, they won’t hold curls the same way. For effortless waves or loose curls, choose our Mane Theorie Beach Wave extensions.
Lightly mist with a leave-in conditioner or detangler. Separate the hair into small sections, then gently brush from the ends upward to the weft using a wide-tooth comb or paddle brush. Always start at the ends and work toward the root to prevent damage. Be gentle.
All extensions are meticulously crafted by hand, so light shedding may occur during first use. To minimize shedding, gently comb with a paddle brush starting at the ends and working up to the root.
We recommend avoiding frequent washes, as they can dry out the fibers. When needed, brush gently from ends to roots. Fill a sink with cold water and a conditioner (no shampoo). Submerge the extensions, then detangle with a wide-tooth comb or paddle brush. Lay flat on a towel to air dry. Do not blow-dry.
